In 1978 Marcel Bongers had a notable success in the progressive underground scene with "Pacific Prison", which is now internationally an often sought-after collecter's item. Nearly ten years after the sudden split of his "M.L. Bongers Project" he found a new companion for his musical ambitions in Karsten Schulze. They co-founded "Silent Sun", the only continuous of his various follow-up projects.
