about

Properly speaking, this concept album is a sort of private collection in that it is not perfect in any sense. Its recordings are no accurately polished and totally elaborate musical works, but rather could be described as atmospheric sound sketches that have constantly changed and compiled over a period of 25 years. The different songs deal with the different appearances of human desertion like alienation, isolation and loneliness regarding individuals or societies concerned in that sense, e.g. a lighthouse-keeper (diedown in patience), an old man living alone (the man in the flat), alien visitors on earth (the curse of the alien dance), progressive investigation narrowing our living space and the variety of beings (asymptotes of science), a group of spiritually ambitous people going astray (void refuge) and so on. We've set our hearts on these tracks, so we'd like to share them with you who might like to listen with open hearts and minds.

Nearly ten years after the sudden split of his "M.L. Bongers Project" he found a new companion for his musical ambitions in Karsten Schulze. They co-founded "Silent Sun", the only continuous of his various follow-up projects. ... more
